We have a played a lot of games together with friends and family of all ages. Here is a list of the top games that we play more often than any others!
1. Skull Kings
Grandpa Beck's games are some of the best for smaller groups and Skull Kings is one that you will come back to again and again. This game is a little more difficult for younger kids to pick up, but teens and up will have a blast!
This game is super popular with kids of all ages and easy for everyone to pick up. A lot of luck is involved, so it can be a bit of a turn off for an adults-only game. But if you are looking for a quick game to play with kids of all ages, this one is a massive hit!
3. Catch Phrase
Catch Phrase is one of my all-time favorite games. We used to play this game every week as a family with kids ranging from 8-20 years old. You get a guess word and have to give clues for your teammates to guess without using anything that sounds like or rhymes with guess word before the timer runs out.
4. One Night Ultimate Werewolf
Before you play this game, make sure you are with a group that can control their emotions. Basically you are playing the game "Mafia" in a single, five-minute round. Things can get heated as accusations fly around the room, but if you have a group that can handle it, you'll play this game all night long.
If you want a game that is super laid back and let's you learn more about the group you are with, I would highly recommend this one. The main person is given five worst-case scenario cards and has to rank them 1-5 on which they would prefer to happen. The rest of the group tries to guess what order the main person ranked them. Super fun, easy to pick up, and very laid back.
6. Tapple
You get a category and have to name something that fits in the category starting with one of the remaining letters on the board before the timer runs out. The last person standing wins. The rounds are quick and easy for everyone to pick up!
